Do you qualify?

Illinois Solar for All eligibility depends on your household income. There are two ways to meet the income requirements.

You participate in a qualifying assistance program

SNAP or LIHEAP participation may establish household income eligibility. Medicaid can help verify an individual member; other adults may need separate verification.

Your household income is at or below 80% of Area Median Income

Illinois Solar for All

Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) is a state-supported program that brings the benefits of solar energy to income-eligible households across Illinois. Its community solar option lets you participate without installing panels on your own roof.

Eligible subscribers receive credits on their monthly electric bill, with no upfront costs. Some subscriptions are free; others charge a fee of no more than half the value of the credits. Your subscription terms explain your costs and savings.
